Take a look at this, just heard on the Weather Channel that parts of CO and MT will be getting 1-4 FEET within the next 2 days, hopefully this is just a glimpse of whats to come this winter!

I heard mixed remarks about the great lakes region this morning. NOAA says normal to above normal temps and below normal percip. Old Farmers Almanac says much below normal temps and below normal percip. Same was said for last year. Lets hope they're wrong again!

warmer temps mean lake michigan don't freeze which should equal more lake effect...i hope!

The only prob I see with lake effect is the fact that the cool summer didn't warm the lakes up much. The warmer the lake, the more lake effect you get.

Yeah nothing worse then getting snow during the week and then warm ups and rain on the weekend. All too familiar around here. Last year was an exception (and a very welcomed one at that!)
